This module aims to help students discern the issues, challenges, opportunities and improvement in the landscape of corporate governance. It provides students with advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of the fast-changing fields of governance and accountability, the corporate governance structure, the role of the Board of Directors, institutional investors and the government, financial reporting, emerging audit issues and how they relate to social, environmental and ethics performance to create a sustainable long-term stakeholder approach to value creation.
